Joyous Being Performance
Joyous Being is a fusion arts performance created by Being:Art. It features live dance and music along with a visual slide show of beautiful nature imagery. The set performance is approximately 40-60 minutes in length followed by an interactive improvisation between artists and audience.

Nature inspires us to create, constantly reminding us we are not separate from the animals and the trees. Connecting and reconnecting with the natural world through all our senses, movement, music, and imagery. By allowing the audience (adults and children alike) to experience a connection to nature through this performance, we hope to kindle curiosity, inspire people to go outside, and to appreciate the awesomeness and beauty of nature.

Joyous Being was a featured performance at the World Forum's Working Forum on Nature Education at the Arbor Day Farm in Nebraska City, NE in 2006.

Original choreography by Anne Wike and Natalie Ragland. Original music by Sean Murphy and Jeff Ray.

"Although human subtlety makes a variety of inventions by different means to the same end, it will never devise an invention more beautiful, more simple, or more direct than does nature, because in her inventions nothing is lacking, and nothing is superfluous." -
-Leonardo da Vinci
