Being:Art was founded by artists/teachers Anne Froning Wike and Sean Murphy.

Our mission is to reveal the art making process and create aesthetic works of art. We provide fusion art experiences in the form of performances, workshops, handcrafted instruments, classes, and residencies. Our work includes multidisciplinary art designed for site-specific environments.

We are consultants for the Dimensions Educational Research Foundation developing and teaching workshops. We sell outdoor musical instruments through Nature Explore, a joint effort of the Dimensions and National Arbor Day Foundations. We are also Artists-in-Residence at the Buckman Performing & Fine Arts Center in Memphis, TN.

To Navigate Our Site: To begin, click on 'Works' on the top left of the screen. A menu will drop down and you can click on the category that interests you. From here, you click on the pics to continue navigation. There is plenty of multimedia content throughout the site, so whenever you see a play button in the center of a picture, try it out!
